Police Seek DNA Information From Ancestry.com

Law enforcement officials use the Ancestry.com DNA database in criminal investigations. They receive the information by obtaining court orders requiring disclosure and then serve it on the company. Some states are calling for a ban on police searching nongovernmental DNA databases.
