Sullivan, Missouri Man Charged in Alleged Assault

May 31, 2012 – A man, of Sullivan, Missouri, has been charged with second-degree assault, armed criminal action and tampering with physical evidence in connection to the attacks made upon a 32 year old man of Cuba, Missouri on Saturday. Authorities say that text messages sent to a 13 year old girl was the motivation for the attacks. The victim says he was punched, kicked, and hit with a pipe. Police spoke to the suspected Sullivan man on Tuesday and believed he would surrender, however, police say they are still looking for him. Bail has been set at $75,000.
